Tarn Taran News: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Tarn Taran, Harmeet Singh Sandhu, said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is promoting the ideology of Guru Sahibaan and is committed to connecting the young generation with their rich heritage and history. While interacting with the people of Tarn Taran constituency, he appreciated the Punjab School Education Board for organizing seminars dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
Harmeet Singh Sandhu informed that these seminars were held along the historic route through which Bhai Jaita Ji carried the sacred head of Guru Sahib from Delhi to Sri Anandpur Sahib. He said that during these three-day seminars held from November 3 to 7, more than 2,600 students participated and gained significant knowledge about the life, teachings, and great sacrifice of “Hind Ki Chadar” Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
The AAP candidate said that such efforts not only acquaint students with history but also inspire them to stand up for truth and righteousness. He said that the Mann government is paying full attention to the moral development of children along with education so that a better society can be built. He appealed to the residents of the constituency to support such a progressive and constructive government and to ensure AAP’s victory for the holistic development of Tarn Taran.
