New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday detained three doctors and a religious preacher in connection with a recent terror attack, officials said.
Muzammil Ganai, Adil Rather, Shahina Saeed and Maulvi Irfan Ahmad Waghe were earlier arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police after the blast.
“All of them played a key role in the terror attack in which many innocent people were killed and many others were injured” an NIA spokesperson said.
The NIA formally took over the investigation on November 11. With the latest custody action, the number of accused held by the central agency has risen to six.
