New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation has made a major breakthrough in the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case investigation, with officials claiming that handwritten questions provided during coaching sessions closely matched the actual medical entrance examination paper conducted on May 3.
According to a senior CBI official, Professor Kulkarni allegedly dictated questions, answer options and correct answers to students during coaching classes.
Investigators said the handwritten notes prepared by students were found to be almost identical to the original NEET-UG 2026 examination paper, raising serious concerns over a possible organised leak network.
The agency added that further arrests are likely as the investigation progresses and more links are being examined.
Earlier, on May 14, Manisha Waghmare was also arrested in connection with the case.
