Chandigarh: Aman Arora on Sunday dismissed speculation over his silence following the exit of seven Rajya Sabha MPs, asserting that he remains fully committed to the Aam Aadmi Party.
Speaking from Sunam, Arora said he has been actively engaged in party work, with nearly 40 programmes scheduled in his constituency over the next two days.
‘No need to respond to every report’
Reacting to media reports questioning his silence, Arora said he does not consider it necessary to respond publicly to every development.
He maintained that leaders loyal to the party are focused on grassroots work rather than media statements.
Sharp attack on defecting MPs
Targeting the seven MPs who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, Arora termed their move as “opportunistic” and a betrayal of the trust placed in them by Arvind Kejriwal.
He said their decision reflects “political hollowness” and added that the people of Punjab would not forgive such actions.
‘BJP a washing machine’
In a sharp remark, Arora alleged that BJP has become a “washing machine” for leaders trying to cleanse their political past.
He reiterated that he prefers to stay focused on organisational work rather than engage in unnecessary commentary, stressing that committed party leaders continue to work at the ground level.
