Chandigarh: The Punjab government on Thursday issued transfer and posting orders for three IAS officers with immediate effect as part of an administrative reshuffle.
According to the orders issued by the Department of Personnel (IAS Branch) under the approval of the Governor of Punjab, IAS officer Mohammad Tayyab, a 2007-batch officer currently serving as Secretary, Jails, has now been appointed as Secretary, Jails, along with the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, NRI Affairs, against a vacant post.
Meanwhile, 2012-batch IAS officer Senu Duggal, who was serving as Managing Director of Punjab Financial Corporation and additionally handling the charge of Managing Director, SUGARFED, has now been placed at the disposal of the Department of Cooperation for posting as Managing Director, SUGARFED. She will continue to hold the additional charge of Managing Director, Punjab Financial Corporation.
In another key transfer, 2015-batch IAS officer Sandeep Kumar has been posted as Chief Administrator of Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GAMADA), SAS Nagar. He will also hold the additional charge of Director, Town and Country Planning, Punjab.
