Ludhiana: Union minister Ravneet Singh Bittu launched a sharp attack on Bhagwant Mann during an interaction with the media, accusing the Punjab chief minister of trying to create obstacles in the functioning of the country.
Bittu alleged that Mann was acting like an “ISI agent” and claimed that his actions could endanger national interests. He further said people should closely monitor the Punjab chief minister’s activities.
The remarks came after Bhagwant Mann reportedly mocked Narendra Modi over his recent foreign visits. Responding to questions from journalists on the issue, Bittu made the controversial statement.
Defending the Prime Minister’s foreign engagements, Bittu said Modi travels abroad to address important national matters, including issues related to oil and gas supplies.
He said that the Prime Minister’s recent visit to the United Arab Emirates was aimed at resolving energy-related concerns for the country.
