Diksha’s success to inspire young girls to pursue career in defence services, Aman Arora

PunjabENews (June 10): In a shining testament to its unwavering mission of transforming young girls into women of substance, Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute’s (AFPI) Lady Cadet Diksha Sharma has been selected for Pre-Commission Training at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala (Kerala).

Diksha Sharma, daughter of a Mohali based bus owner & operator Sh. Daya Krishan Sharma, has been selected for the Education Branch and will be joining the Indian Naval Academy later in this month.

Congratulating the lady cadet on her remarkable achievement, Punjab Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Minister Mr. Aman Arora said that Mai Bhago AFPI is turning dreams into reality. Lady Cadet Diksha Sharma’s success will inspire more young girls from the state to explore opportunities in the Defence Services.

Expressing immense pride and joy at the selection, Major General Jasbir Singh Sandhu, AVSM (Retd.), Director of Mai Bhago AFPI stated, “Lady Cadet Diksha Sharma’s achievement is a powerful validation of our rigorous training methodology and holistic mentorship. This will provide a significant boost to our ongoing efforts to send more and more daughters of Punjab into the Defence Services.
