Patna: Prominent businessman Gopal Khemka was shot dead by a motorcycle-borne assailant outside his residence in Patna late on Friday night. The incident took place around 11.40 pm near the gate of Khemka’s house in the Gandhi Maidan area when he was about to get down from his car, police said.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday convened a meeting to review the law and order situation in the state and directed officials to complete the probe into Khemka’s murder at the earliest, officials said.
