London: King Charles III met the Indian men’s and women’s cricket teams at St. James’s Palace during their ongoing tour of England. The teams were introduced to the King at Clarence House Gardens, where he interacted with the players and posed for a group photo.

The Indian women’s team recently won the five-match T20 series 3-2 and is set to play a three-match ODI series against England.

Meanwhile, the Indian men’s team is playing a five-Test series, with England currently leading 2-1 after winning the second Test at Lord’s by 22 runs.

Captain Shubman Gill, vice-captain Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, and head coach Gautam Gambhir were among those present during the meeting. “It’s an honour for us that King Charles III has called us,” Gill said.
