New Delhi: More than 300 flights were delayed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) on Saturday as heavy rainfall lashed the national capital, officials said. No flight diversions were reported.
IGIA, the country’s largest airport, handles about 1,300 flights daily. Airport officials said several flights were also cancelled. According to flight tracking website Flightradar24.com, the average departure delay was around 17 minutes.
