Ghaziabad: Two accused who had opened fire at Bollywood actor Disha Patani’s house in Bareilly were killed in a police encounter in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The operation was carried out by joint teams of the UP Special Task Force (STF) and Delhi Police.
According to the information, the accused have been identified as Ravindra alias Kallu and Arun. Police said both were associated with the Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar gang. Ravindra, a resident of Rohtak in Haryana, had been involved in several criminal incidents earlier, while Arun hailed from Sonipat in Haryana.
Police recovered a Glock, Jigana pistol and several cartridges from the spot after the encounter.
The case dates back to September 11 when the first firing took place at Patani’s house in Civil Lines around 4:33 am. A second attack followed on September 12 at 3:30 am. In his complaint, Patani’s father alleged that abusive comments and threats were also issued against his daughter on social media.
