New Delhi: The Patiala House Court in Delhi on Saturday extended the judicial custody of Gaganpreet Kaur till October 11 in connection with the Dhaula Kuan BMW accident case.
Metropolitan Magistrate Ankit Garg extended Kaur’s custody for 14 days after she was produced before the court at the end of her earlier remand. She will now be presented in court again on October 11.
During the hearing, advocate Atul Kumar, representing the complainant, said the arguments in the case have been completed and the matter has been fixed for pronouncement. He added that CCTV footage of the accident was played in court.
On September 14, Navjot Singh (52), a deputy secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, was killed after his vehicle was hit on the Ring Road near Delhi Cantonment Metro Station. Singh was returning home with his wife from Gurdwara Bangla Sahib when the accident occurred.
