New Delhi: Morocco defeated Argentina in the final of the FIFA U-20 World Cup today, becoming only the second African team to win the tournament after Ghana’s triumph in 2009.
Zabiri was named Man of the Match after scoring in the 12th minute and later combining with Mohammed Oahbi to net another goal in the 29th minute.
Earlier in the competition, Argentina had topped Group D with three wins from three matches but fell short in the final against a dominant Moroccan side.
