Rajya Sabha Member encourages players
Jalandhar News: Under the ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ campaign launched by the Government of Punjab, the Jalandhar Premier League (JPL), being organized by Vasal Education in collaboration with the Jalandhar Administration at IV World School, featured today’s match between Government Model Senior Secondary School, Ladowali and Guru Nanak Foundation Global School, Jalandhar.
In this contest, Government Model Senior Secondary School, Ladowali set a target of 225 runs for the opposing team and won the match by 192 runs. Krishana Sharma strengthened the team with his 106 runs and was declared Man of the Match.
On this occasion, Member of Rajya Sabha and former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh arrived specially to bless the players. Emphasizing the importance of discipline, courage, and hard work in life, he inspired the youth to fulfill their dreams with a spirit of dedication. He highly appreciated the efforts of the district administration in promoting sports at the grassroots level and empowering young players.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Agarwal encouraged the players to play with true sportsmanship. He said that sports not only bring discipline into life but also foster the spirit of teamwork.
On this occasion, Vasal Education Group’s Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal and CEO Raghav Vasal emphasized that sports play a vital role in making us disciplined and responsible citizens. On this occasion, the school students also gave band and bhangra performances.
