Deputy Commissioner reviews preparations at Guru Nanak Stadium- Invites people to attend the show along with their families
Kapurthala News: On the occasion of the 350th Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the district administration is making strenuous preparations for the “Light and Sound” program being organized by the Punjab government at Guru Nanak Stadium Kapurthala on November 14.
Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Panchal and SSP Gaurav Toora reviewed the preparations at Guru Nanak Stadium today.
Deputy Commissioner said that on the occasion of the 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the Punjab government will organize a light and sound show at Guru Nanak Stadium in Kapurthala on November 14 from 5 PM. He said that through this show of about 45 minutes, the Sangat will be informed about the life, philosophy and martyrdom of Guru Sahib through digital means. He said that SDM Kapurthala Major Irwin Kaur has been nominated as the nodal officer to conduct the show smoothly.
Panchal reviewed the arrangements for the entry of the Sangat, transportation, parking, temporary toilets, drinking water, electricity etc. at the stadium.
Apart from this, SSP Toora reviewed the arrangements to be made for smooth transportation, parking and security during the event.
Deputy Commissioner has made it clear that no pass is required for the show and people would be able to enjoy the light and sound show at the stadium without any entry fee etc. He appealed to the people to come and watch this show being organized by the Punjab Government along with their families so that the new generation can be made aware of the life and martyrdom of Guru Sahib in a more effective manner.
On this occasion, Municipal Commissioner Anupam Kaler, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Navneet Kaur Bal, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Varinderpal Singh Bajwa, SDM Irwin Kaur, SP Gurpreet Singh and heads of other departments were present.
