Patna: After the conclusion of the second phase of polling in Bihar, exit polls suggest that the NDA alliance is likely to form the next government in the state. The official results will be declared on November 14.
Bihar went to polls in two phases for a total of 243 assembly seats. The first phase, held on November 6 for 121 seats, recorded a voter turnout of 65%, while the second phase saw a record turnout of 68.44% for 122 seats.

In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, the NDA had won 125 seats, while the Mahagathbandhan secured 110 seats. This time, exit polls suggest the NDA could gain 20-35 seats, while the Mahagathbandhan may see a reduction in its tally.
A majority in the Bihar Assembly requires 122 seats.
