New Delhi: Security agencies have recovered diaries belonging to Dr Umar Nabi and Dr Muzammil Ganai, the alleged masterminds of the Delhi blasts, revealing that the attack was planned between November 8 and 12, sources said on Thursday.
According to ANI, the diaries reportedly contain the names of around 25 individuals, most of whom are residents of Jammu and Kashmir and Faridabad. Investigators believe the entries point to a larger conspiracy behind the blast.
The documents were recovered from Dr Umar Nabi’s room (No. 4) and Dr Muzammil Ganai’s room (No. 13) on Tuesday and Wednesday. Officials also seized another diary from the location in Faridabad’s Dhauj village where 360 kilograms of explosives were earlier found—just 300 metres from Al-Falah University.
Security agencies are also investigating whether multiple vehicles were prepared for carrying out the attacks. On Monday evening, a white Hyundai i20 exploded near the Red Fort, killing 13 people and injuring 30 others.
Investigators later traced a second vehicle, a red Ford EcoSport, in Faridabad. However, a third car, suspected to be a Maruti Brezza, remains untraced.
