New Delhi: Amid rising tensions, Iran has denied reports that it has agreed to participate in a second round of peace talks with the United States, even as Washington maintains that discussions are scheduled for Tuesday.
According to a report by Al Jazeera, citing Islamic Republic News Agency, Tehran has strongly rejected the claims and criticised what it described as “unjust demands” and “unreasonable expectations” from the US side.
Iran also accused the US of repeatedly shifting its stance and condemned the ongoing naval blockade, calling it a direct violation of the ceasefire understanding.
The conflicting positions highlight continued uncertainty over diplomatic efforts, with both sides yet to reach common ground on key issues despite international pressure for de-escalation.
