Bhuj: The Haryana women’s handball team has entered the semi-finals of the 54th HFI Senior National Handball Championship after defeating Madhya Pradesh. The championship is being held in Bhuj, Gujarat, from June 28 to July 3.
Handball Federation of India General Secretary Dr Pritpal Singh Saluja congratulated the Haryana team on their performance. Team coach Vivek Kharkia said the players had made the state proud with their efforts in the competition.
The Haryana coaching team includes head coach Raju Nathuwas and assistant coaches Anju Baljot and Sudesh Kaluwala.
The team is being led by captain Sonia Litani. The championship is organised by the Handball Federation of India.
