Chicago: At least four people were killed and 14 others injured in a shooting outside a nightclub in Chicago’s River North neighbourhood, local police told CBS News on Thursday.
Police said three men in an SUV opened fire on a crowd gathered in the 300 block of West Chicago Avenue.
Among the dead are a 24-year-old man who was shot in the chest and a 25-year-old man who was shot in the head. An 18-year-old and a 17-year-old girl also died in the attack.
Officials said the injured, aged between 21 and 32 years, were rushed to nearby hospitals, with the condition of four of them reported to be critical.
