Chandigarh: Bhupinder Singh Jandpuri has been unanimously elected as the president of the Class-4 Union of the Information and Public Relations Department at Punjab Civil Secretariat-1.
Jandpuri has been serving in the department for the past 29 years and is currently posted as an office assistant. On this occasion, Gurmukh Singh, also an office assistant, was unanimously elected as the vice-president.
After his election, Jandpuri said he would work with union members to strengthen the organization and ensure that the genuine demands of Class-4 employees are conveyed to the concerned authorities. He pledged to carry out his responsibilities with full dedication.
Former president Paramjit Singh, Surmukh Singh Gharaun, Tinku, Chamkaur Singh, Ravi Kumar, Khushvinder Singh, Jaswinder Singh Jassi, Charno Devi, Amandeep Kumar, Charanjit Singh, and Naresh Kumar congratulated Jandpuri and assured him of their full support.
