Jalandhar News: In view of the forthcoming visit of the Hon’ble President of India, the district administration has declared Jalandhar a ‘No Flying Zone’ from January 14 to January 16, 2026.
Additional District Magistrate-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner (G), Amaninder Kaur, exercising powers conferred under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has issued orders declaring the district as a no-flying area.
As per the orders, flying of any civil remote/pilot aircraft systems, drones, helicopters, or similar aerial devices within the territorial limits of Jalandhar district has been strictly prohibited. However, the restriction will not apply to helicopters or aircraft used by the Hon’ble President of India and other VVIPs.
The orders will remain in force from January 14, 2026, to January 16, 2026.
