Punjab E News: The Punjab Government has issued transfer and posting orders for 11 IPS officers, including Jalandhar Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur, Amritsar Rural SSP Suhel Qasim and Faridkot SSP Pragya Jain.
According to orders issued by the Home Affairs Department’s Home-1 branch, Special DGP-cum-Director of MRS PPA Phillaur Anita Punj has been posted as Special DGP, HRD and Welfare, Punjab, Chandigarh.
IG Technical Services Punjab, Pradeep Kumar Yadav, who was also holding additional charge of police coordination as Resident Commissioner at Punjab Bhawan in New Delhi, has been relieved of the additional responsibility and will continue as IG Technical Services, Punjab, Chandigarh.
Jalandhar Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur has been transferred as Director, MRS PPA Phillaur, while DIG Ludhiana Range Satinder Singh has been appointed as the new Police Commissioner of Jalandhar.
Commandant of 75th Battalion PAP Jalandhar, Vivek Sheel Soni, will now oversee the work of DIG Border Range.
Surinderjit Singh Mand, who was awaiting posting after promotion to DIG rank, has been appointed DIG Jails Punjab. Similarly, Kanwaldeep Singh has been posted as DIG Law and Order, Punjab, Chandigarh, while Sandeep Kumar Sharma has been appointed DIG PAP-2 Jalandhar.
DIG AGTF-2 Ludhiana Sandeep Goyal, who was also holding additional charge of DIG Border Range Amritsar, has now been posted as DIG Ludhiana Range.
Amritsar Rural SSP Suhel Qasim has been transferred as AIG Personnel-1 Punjab, Chandigarh, while Faridkot SSP Pragya Jain has been posted as AIG Law and Order Punjab, Chandigarh.
