Washington: Two youths from Haryana lost their lives in a tragic road accident in the United States. The incident occurred when the duo went out for a drive and their speeding car lost control, overturned, and collided head-on with an oncoming truck.
Following the collision, the car caught fire, and both youths were burnt alive. Emergency services, including the local police and fire brigade, rushed to the scene and managed to douse the flames. The victims were pulled from the wreckage and taken to a hospital, but were declared dead on arrival.
The accident took place on Monday night, as per Indian time. The families of the deceased, one from Karnal and the other from Kaithal, were informed later. One of the victims was reportedly the only son of his parents.
A video of the incident has also surfaced online, showing the car engulfed in flames after the crash.
