Punjab govt makes new appointments to 14 boards

Chandigarh: The Punjab government has made fresh appointments to 14 boards and corporations in an effort to strengthen administrative functioning across the state.

Among the key appointments, Pankaj Sharda has been named chairman of the Brahmin Welfare Board, while Swaran Salaria has been appointed chairperson of the Rajput Welfare Board.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced the changes on social media platform X, expressing confidence that the new appointees will carry out their duties with commitment and sincerity.
