Eight workers killed in massive fire at chemical factory in Rajasthan’s Bhiwadi

Bhiwadi: At least eight workers were killed after a massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in the Khushkhera industrial area of Bhiwadi in Rajasthan on Monday morning.

According to officials, multiple explosions were reported soon after the blaze erupted, causing the fire to spread rapidly across the premises. The intensity of the flames left workers with little time to escape.

Several fire tenders rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control after hours of firefighting, but significant loss of life and property had already occurred.

Administrative authorities said eight bodies have been recovered so far. Fears remain that more workers could be trapped under the debris, and rescue operations are still underway.

Officials said the presence of chemicals and other highly inflammable materials inside the factory contributed to the rapid spread of the fire. The explosions were so powerful that panic gripped nearby areas.

Police and district administration teams reached the site and have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the incident.
