Lawrence Bishnoi and his Pakistani handlers behind attacks; BJP’s central Government giving him security: Mohinder Bhagat

Cabinet Minister slams gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Pakistani handlers behind attacks in State

Jalandhar News: Punjab Horticulture Minister Mohinder Bhagat on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his Pakistani handlers, accusing them of being behind the recent violent incidents in Punjab. The Minister also criticized the BJP-led Union Government for allegedly providing VIP security to Bishnoi in Sabarmati Jail, Ahmedabad.

Mr. Bhagat made these remarks while visiting the residence of former Minister Manoranjan Kalia, where a attack took place last night. The meeting held in a conducive environment, following the Minister informed that Mr. Kalia was safe and that the Punjab Police was investigating the incident thoroughly.

The Minister expressed serious concern over the role of Lawrence Bishnoi, claiming that he has been orchestrating such attacks in Punjab with the help of Pakistani handlers. “It is an open secret that Lawrence Bishnoi has links with Pakistan. The earlier attack on a YouTuber’s house at the behest of Pakistani Don Shahzad Bhatti has already exposed these international connections,” he added.

Mr. Bhagat accused the Union Government of shielding Bishnoi in jail with top-level security, raising questions about the Centre’s intentions. “Providing full security cover to a gangster like Bishnoi in jail raises questions over Union Government intentions,” he said.

He further stated that anti-social elements backed by Pakistan were trying to disturb Punjab’s peace as they could not digest the rapid development of the state under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s leadership, particularly the government’s aggressive campaign against drugs namely ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’.

Reaffirming the Punjab Government’s resolve, Mr. Bhagat said the state police were taking strict measures to prevent such incidents. He made it clear that the Punjab Government would never allow anyone to disrupt the peace and harmony of the state.

Meanwhile, Advisor to Punjab’s Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department Deepak Bali who was accompanying the Cabinet Minister also lambasted gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his Pak based handlers for such attacks in Punjab. He highlighted nefarious network of Lawrence at the behest of Pakistan who was trying to disrupt the peace of Punjab. He further said that Lawrence Bishnoi was handling all this network from Sabarmati Jail in Ahmedabad where he was getting special treatment by BJP led Union Government.

New revelations emerge in Amandeep Kaur heroin case; once part of Moosewala’s security detail

Chandigarh: Fresh details have emerged in the case of Punjab Police head constable and social media influencer Amandeep Kaur, who was recently arrested in Bathinda with heroin.

Sources revealed that during her posting in Mansa a few years ago, Kaur was assigned to the security detail of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. However, she was removed from the post for dereliction of duty.

Security in-charge Rajinder reportedly informed then SSP Mansa, Nanak Singh, about Kaur’s suspicious behaviour, including frequent visits from her alleged associate Balwinder alias Sonu while she was posted at Moosewala’s residence. Following this, she was taken off the assignment.

Amandeep Kaur joined the Punjab Police in 2011 and has now been arrested for the third time in her 14-year career. Investigations have revealed a sharp mismatch between her known assets and her lifestyle.

Despite officially owning only a scooty, she was living in an eight-marla kothi in a posh area of Bathinda—registered in someone else’s name. Investigators suspect that multiple properties and vehicles linked to her are registered under different names to avoid detection.

She also reportedly owns a Tibetan Shih Tzu dog, known for its royal lineage and high maintenance. The breed costs between Rs 60,000 and Rs 1.5 lakh in India, with upkeep expenses averaging Rs 7,000 per month.

Officials have recovered an affidavit related to a new Thar vehicle, and a Bullet motorcycle was found registered in the name of her alleged associate Balwinder. Authorities are continuing to trace the ownership of other assets tied to the accused as part of the investigation.
