Chandigarh: The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the Class 10 Session-1 results, with the Ludhiana region recording an overall pass percentage of 95.70%.
Around 1.20 lakh students from the region appeared in the examination. In the national ranking, the Ludhiana region secured the 9th position.
Among top performers, Mudit Jain from Amritsar scored a perfect 100%. He said his success came from focused understanding rather than rote learning. Similarly, Vaibhav Arora from Fazilka also achieved full marks, scoring 500 out of 500.
Students can check their results on the official CBSE website as well as on the UMANG app.
The board has not released any merit list this year and has strictly instructed school principals not to declare school toppers. However, some schools in Ludhiana have started inviting high-scoring students for recognition.
