Chandigarh: Punjab Police has issued a Lookout Circular (LOC) against senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia in connection with the alleged attack on Majitha police station.
The development comes amid an ongoing investigation into the incident, which reportedly involved vandalism at the police station and an alleged attempt to forcibly secure the release of a detainee from police custody.
While senior police officials have not issued an official statement regarding the LOC, confirmation of the action was shared through the official social media handle of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on platform X.
The case stems from events that unfolded at Majitha police station, where police have alleged that a group of protesters entered the premises, disrupted official proceedings and attempted to interfere in the custody of an accused person.
