Arlington (Texas): Spain booked their place in the FIFA World Cup 2026 final after defeating France 2-0 in the semifinal. The 2010 world champions will now face the winner of the second semifinal between England and Argentina in Sunday’s title clash.
France, meanwhile, will take on the loser of the England-Argentina semifinal in the third-place playoff on Saturday after their World Cup campaign ended in the last four.
Spain, who are also the reigning European champions, produced another composed performance to secure a place in the final and move within one win of claiming their second World Cup title.
