Gurugram: Two new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Gurugram, prompting the Health Department to increase vigilance in the area.
The patients include a 31-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man, both of whom have been placed under home isolation. Their condition is currently stable, and both had been experiencing fever for the past week.
The Health Department has confirmed the cases and intensified surveillance and testing. Officials have stated that family members of the infected individuals will also be tested if they develop any symptoms.
The new cases come at a time when the country has been witnessing a general decline in COVID-19 infections. However, health experts have cautioned that changing weather conditions and increased travel could elevate the risk of virus transmission.
