Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann was taken to Fortis Hospital on Wednesday after his blood pressure reportedly spiked suddenly.
Sources said Mann was in Dhuri when he experienced uneasiness. He was accompanying Arvind Kejriwal and was returning to Chandigarh after attending Maha Shivratri events in Sangrur.
The chief minister was scheduled to visit Fazilka later in the day, but the programme was cancelled following the health scare. Sources said Mann reached the hospital around 3.20 pm and a team of doctors is monitoring his condition.
