Mumbai: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday said it has provisionally attached the Mumbai residence of Reliance Group chairman Anil Ambani under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
The property, named ‘Abode’, is located in the upscale Pali Hill area and is valued at ₹3,716.83 crore, according to the agency.
Action ahead of questioning
The attachment comes a day before Ambani (66) is expected to appear before the federal probe agency for a second round of questioning in connection with an alleged bank loan fraud case linked to Reliance Communications (RCOM).
In a statement, the ED said a provisional attachment order was issued under the PMLA in relation to the alleged bank fraud involving RCOM.
Details of the property
The 17-storey luxury residence stands approximately 66 metres tall. The agency also noted that a portion of the property worth ₹473.17 crore had already been attached in November 2025.
The investigation pertains to alleged irregularities in bank loans availed by the company. Further proceedings in the case are underway.
