Punjab E News (April 12): Advisor to the Punjab Department of Culture and Tourism, Deepak Bali, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Sant Mahapurush who attended the meeting at Punjab Bhawan on the request of the Hon’ble Chief Minister and extended their support and guidance for the successful organization of the 650th Prakash Purab of Guru Ravidas Ji.
Bali stated that the detailed plan prepared by the Punjab Government was presented by Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema during the meeting, which was warmly accepted by all the religious leaders. He added that the saints also agreed to lead and guide the celebrations, in line with the Chief Minister’s vision from day one that all events should be conducted under their spiritual leadership.
Highlighting the key programs, Bali said that four major ‘Shobha Yatras’ will be organized, including routes from Kashi (Varanasi), as well as from Talwandi Sabo (Bathinda), Banaras, and Jammu. In addition, drone shows depicting the life and teachings of Guru Ravidas Ji will be held in every assembly constituency across Punjab.
He further informed that a special documentary on Guru Ravidas Ji’s life has been prepared, which will be showcased across 13,000 villages and 4,000 wards, reaching people door-to-door to connect them with the Guru’s teachings.
Bali announced that large-scale regional events will be organized across Punjab, with a grand three-day state-level function scheduled to be held in November at Sri Khuralgarh Sahib. He also shared that a major Sant Sammelan will be organised at the same sacred site, bringing together revered spiritual leaders.
Emphasizing the global significance of the celebrations, Bali said that devotees of Guru Ravidas Ji from across the world will be invited to participate and connect with the Guru’s divine message.
In addition to spiritual and cultural programs, several public participation initiatives will also be undertaken. These include marathons and cycle rallies in every district, as well as a large-scale plantation drive with approximately 6.5 lakh saplings to be planted in each district.
Bali underlined that the success of these events depends on the active participation of the Sangat. He once again thanked all Sant Mahapurush for their valuable presence and support, and appealed to the people of Punjab to participate enthusiastically in the upcoming events and make the celebrations historic.
