Chandigarh: Bhagwant Mann on Sunday visited his in-laws’ residence in Pehowa for the first time since assuming office, attending a private family function.
He was accompanied by his wife Gurpreet Kaur and daughter Niyamat Kaur.
Tight security arrangements
Ahead of the visit, teams of Punjab Police reached the location to review and strengthen security arrangements. Entry was restricted due to the private nature of the event.
Low-key family gathering
Sources said the function was kept simple, with only close family members in attendance. No public or political engagements were scheduled during the visit.
